BELIEFS & CORE VALUES

OUR BELIEFS

As a full member of the Missionary Church, we affirm and submit to the full Articles of Faith and Articles of Practice of the Missionary Church.

Some key points within our Articles of Faith include:  the Triune nature of God; the inspiration, inerrancy, and clarity of Scripture as the Word of God; the humanity and divinity of Jesus Christ; Christ’s sinless life and death on the cross as a substitutionary atonement; the resurrection, ascension, and ongoing intercession of Christ; the historicity of Adam and Eve; the image of God endowed in every human being; gender and sexuality as divinely-designed and delimited; the depravity of humanity; the initiative of the Holy Spirit in conversion and sanctification; the necessity of repentance and personal faith in Christ for salvation; the imminent return of Christ and final judgment.

OUR CORE VALUES

Redeemer is a community of believers who strive to follow after God’s design for the local church as found in Scripture.

We believe Sunday morning worship is essential for God’s people. While we are gathered together as the visible body of Christ, we seek to glorify God through expositional preaching, biblically-informed songs and prayers, intentional fellowship, and sacrificial service.

Our biweekly care group ministry offers the people of Redeemer an opportunity to connect in a more intimate atmosphere. Care Group members serve one another through fellowship, encouragement, intentional conversation, prayer support, and other tangible forms of help. Additionally, we are constantly looking to provide other opportunities for discipleship through periodic courses and events offered at various times throughout the year.
